Management Team

Ross Magladry – President/CEO
Recruited to head TechDevice upon its acquisition by IGI, Ross is a 35-year veteran of the medical device industry. Focused on contract manufacturing for the past 20 years, Ross was the principal architect of Venusa, Ltd, an organization that rose to become the largest independent medical device contact assembler in North America. Supporting 1300 employees and producing sophisticated devices for top tier OEMs, Venusa was integrated into Accellent Corp. in 2005. Ross subsequently joined Medegen, Inc. to spearhead their entry into medical device manufacturing. Establishing facilities in Mexico and California, Medegen developed and promoted an novel needle-less access valve capturing 13% of the US market within 5 years. This lead to their strategic purchase by Carefusion in 2010. Ross’ comprehensive background within the contract medical device industry provides an appropriate underpinning to TechDevice’s strategic growth initiatives.

Michael Brown – Chief Operating Officer
Michael Brown joined TechDevice Corporation in March, 2005 as Director of Business Development working in the role of developing the company brand and building a sales team. In April of 2008, he transitioned into operations and was instrumental in adding engineering depth and broadening TechDevice’s capabilities. Michael’s prior experience includes a variety of business development, consulting, and project management positions in the medical device, software, and retail industries. Michael received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his MBA from Boston College.

Gary Bunnewith – Director of Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering
Gary has over 20 years experience in the medical device industry as a quality engineering and quality management specialist. Prior to joining TechDevice in August, 2002 as Quality Engineering Manager, Gary served in key roles at Schott Fiberoptics, Bard, and Boston Scientific. Gary is co-architect of the TechDevice Quality Management System and played an integral role in establishing TechDevice as an FDA Registered and ISO 13485:2003 Certified corporation.  Gary earned a Master of Science Degree in Quality from Anna Maria College and is a senior member of the American Society for Quality.

Stephen Grantz – Director of Engineering
Steve joined TechDevice Corporation in December, 2008. Steve has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry with specialized expertise in the areas of balloon and balloon catheter development. Steve spent 21 years at CR Bard as an R&D engineer, and more recently, Atrium Medical, Boston Scientific and HTP Meds. Steve holds several patents relating to balloon catheter and delivery systems.

Kevin Korson – Director of Logistics
Kevin began his career in the medical device industry with Boston Scientific where he spent 15 years in planning and related management roles. As one of the first employees to join TechDevice in February, 2001, Kevin was instrumental in implementing the company ERP system as well as developing inventory control and tracking systems. Kevin’s efforts have resulted in exceptional success for TechDevice, in particular the areas of quality, delivery and customer satisfaction. In addition to his successful employment record, Kevin earned his MBA from Bryant College.

Robert Lamson – Director of Marketing and Sales
Bob joined TechDevice Corporation in September, 2007. Bob brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry.  Prior to joining TechDevice, Bob spent 11 years with MicroGroup, Inc., a distributor of tubing products and contract manufacturing services.  In addition to his successful work history, Bob has an MBA from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson.

Edward Petrini – Director of Manufacturing
Ed joined TechDevice Corporation in February, 2002. Ed’s prior experience in the medical device industry includes 18 years with Boston Scientific in a variety of Manufacturing and Engineering roles. Ed’s extensive experience with guidewires, molding and coatings uniquely qualifies him to head up the manufacturing functions at TechDevice.
